Another great experience working with J-Squared Productions shopping, set dressing, and art directing this music video for "Velvet" by TheARTI$T. It was fun being the live sketch artist for the performance too. So grateful to Victoria Sou and Spacegray Studios for the work and encouragement <3

Art Directing a Live Performance Music Video

for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

It was great working with J-Squared Productions shopping, set dressing, and overall art directing this live performance of “Deserve Better” by KB Mike for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I was happy to utilize some props from my collection too - the red classic rotary phone and plant along with "Squee" a doll I handmade from fabric scraps. Thanks again to Victoria Sou and Spacegray Studios for thinking of me for this project <3

Specialty Paper Flowers & Clouds

Set Dressing with Draping & Practical Lighting

For the fashion film Escalate, I made custom handpainted paper flowers and a cloud tunnel with twinkle lights. I also learned how to set C-stands, drape around escalators, and some SFX hazing techniques. So inspired working with everyone on this set - thank you so much to Production Designer Victoria Sou for welcoming me to the team and my first on screen credit <3

Embark on a dreamlike odyssey in Escalate, a high-concept fashion film in which SCAD alumni designs evoke world-changing social, cultural, and political figures in a lush alternate universe.

Curated by Academy Award-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter and premiering at her monumental exhibition “Afrofuturism in Costume Design” at SCAD FASH Museum, the film features futuristic fashions evoking history-changing leaders inspired by Carter’s iconic work.

Specialty Origami Props & Set Dressing

My very first film crew gig was making 100+ origami cranes, flowers, butterflies, birds, etc. forest and sea creatures for the film Three Months. See if you can spot some of the origami around timestamp 1:31:41. It was fun meeting the cast and teaching them how to fold cranes too <3 Thank you so much to Property Master Paul Fox for this opportunity!

Three Months is a coming-of-age comedy-drama movie produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and starring Troye Sivan. The film follows Caleb, a high-school senior in South Florida who is exposed to HIV just as he’s about to begin a new chapter.
